This busy boy thrives when he has a “job” to do and loves staying mentally and physically engaged—idle time just isn’t his style! Scooter will do best with an active family who enjoys training and is excited to give him structure, consistency, and plenty of outlets for his energy. He’ll need ongoing training and guidance, but with the right patience, a solid training plan, and a predictable schedule, Scooter has all the potential to grow into an incredible, loyal companion. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com.<br/><br/>Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.
