Scooter

Scooter is one of two dogs we rescued when they were found left outside for days during a heatwave with nothing more than a cardboard box for shade. Those difficult days are behind him now, and today he's safe at our rescue, loved, and ready to start the next chapter of his life with YOU! With a new name, a full belly, a cool place to rest, and lots of love, we have learned what an incredible dog he truly is. This handsome boy is a friendly, lovable goofball and at just 2 years old, he's 60 pounds of pure love and has no idea how big he is! He'll happily lean into the volunteers for affection, soak up all the pets he can get, and let us know that he's just a giant lap dog at heart. He'll be a loyal companion who will love going for walks and happily join you on all your upcoming adventures. Scooter is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and ready to join his new forever family. Could that be with YOU? Scooter is located at our rescue in Terryville, Ct. If you're thinking about giving this young pup a second chance at the life he deserves and would like to meet him, please submit an adoption application and our adoption coordinator will reach out to you!
