Scooch's Story
At a year and a half old and 41 pounds, Scooch has grown up a bit, but he has held onto all the sweetness that made everyone fall for him in the first place. This gentle, easygoing boy has truly come into his own and is ready to find the home he has been waiting for.

Scooch is wonderfully dog friendly and enjoys just about everything life has to offer. Whether he is out and about at events representing the shelter or simply soaking in the moment, he takes it all in stride. He has become one of our go to pups, and it is easy to see why. His calm, loving nature makes him such a joy to be around.

He still has those playful moments, but more often than not, Scooch is happiest just being close to his people. He will follow you from room to room, settle in beside you, and quietly remind you that he is yours.

Scooch is not just looking for a home. He is looking for his person. And when he finds them, he will give them his whole heart.

*Reminder* We are currently facilitating adoptions through appointment only. If you arrive at the shelter without an appointment to meet a dog, we may not be able to assist you.

Please call the shelter (516-869-6311) during working hours (Mon. to Fri. 9AM-4PM; Sat. 10AM-4PM) for more information about this dog, the adoption process at the shelter, and to confirm availability.
