Scooby's Story

This handsome fella is Scooby (he came with that name and does answer to it).

He is a 2 years old, fawn Great Dane, very playful and loving once he fees safe. . He has met the residents at the rescue ranch and seems to get along with everyone. He is very timid with new humans and will shy away from human touch until he knows and trusts you. I sat for 15 minutes in front of his crate before he would come out on his own and allow himself to be leashed when he first came into rescue. Now, in typical Scooby fashion, he bounds through the house and just wants to be where the humans are.

He has no concept of his size, although he has a gentle nature, he is quite large and should only go to a home with older children. We have no direct information on how he behaves with cats.

He was recently neutered and is up to date on vaccines. Heartworm negative, with bright eyes, beautiful ears and wonderfully muscled. He seems to have a calm and inquisitive nature, wanting to be within eyeball distance of the human.

Scooby appears on our website, if you are interested in him, I would get your application in early, this handsome boy will likely get snatched up quickly!

This link will take you directly to the application page on our website:

https://flgdr.org/application-form/
