Scooby's Story

Scooby 7 month old Hound mix This sweet boy is looking for his forever home. Scooby’s foster mom says he is a dream pup saying she feels he is perfect in every way. Scooby is a happy boy just enjoying life. He is always respectful, even when playing with his foster siblings. Scooby is house trained and crate trained. Although so far can be left out and he is respectful to the home when nobody is around. Scooby has some energy to burn, and would benefit from a fur sibling to romp around with but would also be ok being the only fur baby getting all the snuggles. He just asks for some adventures to go on and explore. Scooby’s favourite past time is SNUGGLES! He promises to keep you warm on those cold nights, he just has all the love to give. Scooby loves all the little humans big humans and 4 legged friend. He would do well in just about any home as long and they promise to love him as much as he loves them. The adoption fee is $600 and includes spay/neuter (dogs over 6 months), vaccines, heartworm test (dogs over 6 months), deworming, Flea and tick prevention and microchip. Please visit www.paws-united.com to fill out an application. **For puppies under 6 months a $200 spay/neuter rebate will be given with proof of spay/neuter certificate signed by a vet, if they have not been done prior to adoption.** **Please note we DO NOT adopt our dogs as outdoor/farm dogs. These dogs are coming to us as stray, roaming or dogs that have lived a life tied to a chain. Our goal is to bring them in the house off the chain and give them a pampered indoor dogs lifestyle. Unless otherwise stated we will not even consider a home that has intentions of leaving our dogs outdoors or tied to a chain** ***We do require every applicant to provide a vet reference and we do follow up with your vet. If you do not currently have a vet as you have no pets, we strongly encourage you to do your research and contact vets to make sure they are accepting new patients. You must have a vet in place before bringing a new dog home. You will be required to give your vet permission to release information to us, we also require two personal references as well that will be contacted. We have policy and procedure in place while screening homes. If a family refuses any step in the process they will not qualify for adoption. We are not currently doing adoptions across the boarder.***

Paws United Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy

There is an adoption donation for every dog adopted. This is to ensure that we can continue rescuing/re-homing the dogs in need. It helps pay for food, vet bills and any other expenses that the dogs require while in foster care with Paws United Dog Rescue. Each dog goes to their new home after being vet checked and vaccinated. Any dog over the age of 6 months has also been spayed/neutered and micro-chipped. All dogs over the age of 6 months have also been heart-worm tested. All adopters will receive a medical history and be made aware of any behaviour problems and any known history from before the dog came to us.
