Scooby's Story

Scooby is a funny, quirky dude looking for an adopter who will embrace his weirdness. He’s a 4 year old Shih-Poo who lives life by his own rules. He likes to be near you but doesn’t like being touched. So he’s that introverted friend that wants to be invited but isn’t actually gonna join in the festivities. He is most comfortable with another dog around so we are requiring that he go to a home that already has a confident dog. And because he’s nervous in new situations, he will also require a fully fenced yard. Scooby is also not a fan of kids - so a house with teenagers and older or no kids would be best. If you’re into funny little dogs who might sit at the other end of the couch as long as you don’t make eye contact, apply for Scooby!<br/>[PA Kennel License # 07735]

The more detail you can share, the better we can match you with the right dog. Phone Interview Once we've reviewed your application, a member of our team will reach out for a brief phone call. This is a chance for us to answer any questions you have about a specific dog and for us to learn a little more about your home and lifestyle. Meet and Greet If everything looks like a good match, we'll set up a time for you to meet the dog in person. This is an important step — it gives both you and the dog a chance to connect and make sure the chemistry is right. Welcome Home Once everyone is on the same page, it's time to make it official. We'll finalize the adoption, go over any specific care instructions for your new dog, and send you home with your newest family member.
