Scooby's Story

Introducing Scooby... the mystery-mutt pup! Scooby was brought to the shelter by a friend of the rescue who took him in from a stranger who was giving him away in a parking lot. Scooby is approximately three-months-old, but we have no idea what his breeds are. We may not know Scooby's DNA, but we do know he is an absolute doll-baby. Scooby is always happy to meet a friend and is social and outgoing with people. Scooby loves to be cuddled and carried around and will cover you with puppy kisses. Scooby also enjoys playing with his puppy pals and has lots of fun energy. <br/>Remember that while puppies are cute, they are also work! Please make sure you are ready for the commitment of adopting a young dog. Puppies become adult dogs and are meant to be loved for their whole life, not just until they grow up. Puppies will need lots of patience to help them learn their best doggy manners, leash-training, and house-training. Adoption fees are $500 per puppy and include vaccinations, microchip, and eventual alter surgery at the PAWS clinic on Cave Creek Road in Phoenix. Per our vet, we do not alter puppies until around five months, which helps with hormone development and bone growth. Adopters will sign a contract that you will bring Scooby to the PAWS clinic for neuter surgery, sometime in August 2026. Email us at chitownrescue@gmail.com for more information/meet and greet appointment!
