Scooby's Story
Scooby was reported living on a chain when his owner gave him to an elderly family member who in turn could not care for him.<br/><br/>He was brought in & immediately was giving us kisses and wanting love, he was so grateful to get attention. <br/><br/>We thought he was a grey dog when he came in, then we gave him a bath (which he just wanted to give us smooches the whole time) and turns out he's actually blonde!<br/><br/>Taking his pictures was an absolute breeze. <br/>He was soaking up the attention, loved playing with all the toys in the room, he knows sit and paw. <br/><br/>Scooby is now fully vetted & neutered.<br/><br/>He goes to doggy daycare with several of our other shelter dogs 3 times a week & loves it!<br/><br/>We believe he is a Yellow Lab mixed with a low rider breed, we think Basset with how his feet turn out slightly. <br/>He's roughly a year old and while he is short and weighs roughly 70 pounds. <br/><br/>He is dog friendly!<br/>He did good with the cats, not even caring when one swiped at him, he just wanted to show off his toys to all the kittens in the room! <br/><br/>Check the comments for his cute video of playing with all his new toys and just being his best self!<br/><br/>3 VIDEOS on our Facebook page<br/><br/>Come by to meet our handsome Scooby!<br/><br/>To apply please go to www.amherstanimalshelter.org/adopt
