Scoobie's Story
Scoobie aka Scoobs is one of those dogs that just quietly works his way into your heart.

At 5 years old, he's in that place we wish we could bottle up-past the puppy chaos, fully settled, and just...easy. The kind of dog that already knows how to be someone's companion.

Scoobie is the perfect blend of playful yet chill. Grab a leash or some treats and he'll bound around with the cutest little burst of excitement-- but when the day winds down, he is all in for a cozy, quiet night nearby his people.

He's the dog you take with you to the farmers market or coffee shop. He walks beautifully on leash, and truly enjoys being out in the world, and handles it with an easy confidence.

He has lived in an apartment so no problem for him doing his business on a leash--he just gets it.

In the home, Scoobs is as solid as they come. House training is a non issue. He's completely trustworthy when left out and would much prefer that over being crated ( he is used to one, but it's not his favorite and honestly--he doesn't need it).

He is fostering with other dogs and enjoys their presence, though hasn't engaged in any play just yet. We do think he would appreciate another dog in the home, especially if his people are gone for longer days.

Car rides? One of his are one of his favorite things. He loads up and settles in like a total gentleman.

He was a rockstar at our last adoption event and was giving kisses to men, women and kids. And in a twist we don't always see, this boy really seems to be drawn to men. He's an equal opportunity lover, hehe definitely has a soft spot there.

With his mellow, thoughtful nature, we would not be surprised if he did well with kitties.

Scoops isn't flashy. He's not over the top. He's just....really, really good.

And if you've been doing this long enough, you know--he's the dog everyone ends up wishing they had found sooner.

He has been fully vetted and ready for adoption. He is fostering in Tucson AZ
