Scoby's Story

Scoby is a 7-year-old, 20-pound pup who came to us as a stray. Life hasn't been easy for him - his past shows in his cautious nature, and he can be reactive at times. He does have a bite history, which tells us he had to navigate a world where he couldn't always trust people. But here's the amazing part: despite everything he's been through, Scoby is capable of trust, love, and loyalty.

Once he feels safe and knows he's in a stable, calm environment, Scoby's sweet, affectionate side shines through. Treats, gentle encouragement, and a patient hand are all it takes to help him feel secure, and he's surprisingly quick to warm up when he realizes he's safe. He has a strong personality, but underneath it is a dog who wants nothing more than to be loved and to belong.

Scoby would do best in a home without small children and as the only dog, where he can take his time learning to relax and feel confident. With the right family, he can thrive and show the kind of loyalty and devotion that only a dog who's fought so hard for survival can give. He's ready to leave the uncertainty of his past behind and step into a future full of love, comfort, and safety.

This boy has been through a lot, but he still has so much love to give. With patience and consistency Scoby will become a true companion who rewards your trust with affection, playfulness, and that loyal presence only a dog like him can offer. Could you be the one to give him that second chance? Please inquire today!
