Like many dogs of his breeds, he’s loyal, smart, and protective — the kind of companion who bonds deeply with his people.<br/><br/>He can be a bit nervous around new faces at first, but give him some time (and a few treats!) and you’ll see his loving, goofy side shine through. Once you’re in his circle of trust, Schwartz will be your best friend for life.<br/><br/>This big guy loves his toys — especially when there’s a good game of fetch involved — and you’ll often find him zooming around the yard with his favorite squeaky in tow. Walks, treats, and playtime are his favorite parts of the day.<br/><br/>Schwartz does well with playful female dogs but would prefer a home without kids.
