Schultzy is now in foster care waiting for an adoptive home. He was brought into the shelter as a stray and was never claimed. When he came in he was covered in fleas and as a result had lost a bunch of hair. Schultzy has a heart condition and being that he was quite overweight when he came in (likely from lack of proper exercise) it was weighing heavy on his heart. <br/><br><br/><br><br/>He is now in a foster home and all of his beautiful hair has grown back, his weight is at a normal range from daily exercise and he is on daily heart medication to keep him happy and healthy. He loves to go for walks but due to his heart condition, short frequent walks are best. He is full of energy and love to share. He loves to follow his foster mom around and loves cuddle time with her. Getting his belly scratched and eating Peanut butter from his favourite Kong toy makes his day. <br/><br><br/><br><br/>He lives with a few cats and has no problem with them. Although he gets along well with dogs, he should be in a home where only senior dogs live as young ones would want to play all the time and Schultzy should be refrained from getting too excited due to his heart. <br/><br><br/><br><br/>He is housetrained and can be left alone during the day as long as he is given his kong to keep him entertained and he has frequent evening bathroom breaks. <br/><br><br/><br><br/>Schultzy doesn’t know he has health problems and the moment you meet him you will see that. He is so full of life that he wants nothing more than to have a little fun and be loved by a forever family. Can you give Schultzy the forever home he is looking for?
