Meet Scarlett. At just 5 years old, she is finally getting her chance to leave the puppy mill behind.<br/><br/>The farmer told our volunteer that Scarlett has “aged out” of his breeding program. We’re looking for a foster home ASAP so we can welcome this sweet girl into rescue.<br/><br/>Scarlett is friendly with the male dogs on the property and is especially fond of a little Beagle who lives with her in the barn.<br/><br/>Like so many mill girls, she needs very little beyond patience, kindness, and a safe environment as she learns what it means to simply be a dog.<br/><br/>*A fenced yard is a bonus, as Scarlett isn’t accustomed to leash walking to potty.
