She does well with other dogs and could live with another dog in the home that matches her energy. Scarlett would do best with respectful children 16+. She would love to show you how smart she is and how much she can learn with some positive reinforcement.<br/><br/>Here is what shelter staff and volunteers have to say about Scarlett:<br/>Oh Scarlett. I could say so many things about this ANGEL of a dog. But Ill keep it as minimal as I can. Scarlett is quite literally the best dog. Sitting at just around 90lbs, this big headed girl has the most infectious personality. She is so smart, gentle, patient, and incredibly affectionate. Scarlett is also an absolute rock star of a patient. She receives multiple meds each day and I mean it when I say she is so unphased by us grabbing her face and cleaning her eyes and giving her eye drops and eye ointment etc. she just accepts it and lets it happen. She walks incredibly well on leash. She is also very food motivated and knows her commands. Scarlett is the more mellow one of the bunch but she also has a very playful side! But dont let her fool you, she sure knows how to strut her stuff to make sure we give her all the attention and extra treats. She is so silly and truly makes me giggle every day. She loves kisses and a good head or belly scratch. Even though she walks well on leash, she has even gotten to the point where she walks her self to and from her kennel for meds or potty breaks without the leash! So Id say she seemingly routine oriented as well. Scarlett has shown ZERO<br/>signs of reactivity or aggression since her arrival at the shelter. She is so incredibly unbothered that sometimes I wish she could talk so that she could teach me her ways hahaha. Anyways, she is really the freaking best.<br/><br/>Want to adopt Scarlett?
