Scarlett's Story

Scarlett is an 8 year old spayed female Pomeranian. Scarlett used to be used for breeding and has not had much time around humans. In her foster home, she uses her crate as her safe space. She spends the majority of the time in her crate but will come over to eat from your hand. Scarlett IS a flight risk and needs a fenced in yard. She also needs an owner who understands that she is not a cuddly lap dog and she may take weeks or months to come around.

Knox Vintage Pet Project's Adoption Policy
We have a written application all potential adopters must fill out. Once the application is complete, we call all vet references to make sure their current pets are well taken care of (up to date on vaccines and heartworm prevention, sterilized). If the adopter rents, we will call the landlord to make sure they are allowed to have pets and have no restrictions. We require a meet and greet with all of their current pets before adoption.
