While I doneed some time to warm up to new people, once you are myfriend I will be your buddy for life. I ama favorite among staff, students and volunteers alike!I just need that one person who will take the time to get to know me for the lovely girl I am. I don't like to be alone for long periods of time, I love to stick close by my humans. I love playing ball! Apartment living is not for me.

General Socialization Notes:

I stickclose by my humans, and I don't like to be left alone for long periods.I would be a great companion for someone who works from home, or is retired.I am a strong girl but our students and volunteers have worked hard to teach me some manners. Now, I walklovely on leash! I sometimes bark at other dogs or humans when out walking, but I ameasily redirected with simple cues.

Does Scarlett like other pets?

I'd do best in a home without other dogs and nocats.

Does Scarlett like children?

While I have played nicely with appropriate children, I can become overly excited.Because I sometimesforgetwhat a big girl I am, a home with no children would be best for me.

Favorite toys?

I love to chase a ball (sometimes I'll even bring it back to you!)or chew on a squeaky toy. Kongs and other durable bones are great, too.

Ideal Forever Home:

I'm a total sweetheartwho wants to find someone who will love me as much as I love them. My perfect family will be patient with me as I adjust to life in a home. I'd do best in a house, not an apartmentand I'd love a fenced back yard to play in.I'd love someone who can be with me a lot and who will continue my training to help me be confident and well mannered as I learn to trust that they are mine forever.
