With her beautiful brindle coat, expressive eyes, and those big floppy ears, she is as adorable as she is eager to please.<br/><br/>Family & Friends: Scarlet is wonderful with children and has been especially protective and gentle with a 4-year-old boy who has some behavior challenges. She naturally calms and works well with him, they're the best of buddies! While she can be a little wary of new dogs at first, she warms up very quickly once properly introduced. She is a pushy, love-bug girl who just wants to be everyone's friend and soak up all the attention.<br/><br/>Training & Smarts: Scarlet is thriving in training class, and her trainer says she is one of the best-behaved puppies there! <br/>She knows:<br/> Sit<br/> Leave it<br/> Touch<br/> go lay down<br/> Wait<br/> Lay down (working on it!)<br/> Paw ...and more.<br/>She is kennel trained and sees her crate as her house. She is grooming trained, goes to work with her current family every day, and is making great progress on house training (she gives clear signals when she needs to go out, though she still has occasional accidents if you do not catch her cues). She has lots of pitty energy and loves being outside, though she is still learning to stay calm around loud noises like motorcycles or big trucks.<br/>Personality Highlights: Scarlet is a happy, energetic girl who means well in everything she does. She is loving, loyal, and always looking for snuggles and playtime.
