Scarecrow's Story
Scarecrow landed in the shelter after her owner was badly injured in a car accident, no longer able to care for Scarecrow. Her first weeks at the shelter were heartbreaking with Scarecrow cowering in the corner of her kennel, scared of new people and new environment. Over time, we saw her begin to blossom. She is still scared of new people, but she loves to be snuggled by those she knows well.
Scarecrow will need a special, patient, gentle person who understands good things come to those who wait. She needs someone who will go at her pace and keep her feeling safe as she enters the next phase of her journey in a new home.
Interested in fostering or adopting? Send us a message!
