Sawyer is a handsome, compact little guy, about 3 years old and 20 pounds, with a lot of heart packed into his small frame. He came to us after things didn't work out with another dog in his previous home, and like many dogs who experience sudden change Sawyer arrived feeling overwhelmed and unsure. At first the world felt like a lot, and he let everyone know it.<br/><br/>But once Sawyer was given time to decompress and realize he was safe, something really special happened. The walls came down, the stress faded, and his true personality started to shine! He's been doing well with the other dogs and has been enjoying playtime, zoomies, and stretching his legs. Out on walks or in a one-on-one setting, he's an absolute gem.
