Sawyer's Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.
Sawyer and Dusty are adorable puggle brothers who recently came into rescue after aging out of being sold by their breeder. These boys are sweet, silly, and so ready to start their new lives with families who will love them for who they are. They are currently 5 months old and weigh under 20 pounds. They will likely be a small medium size dog, around 25-30 pounds.

The boys are learning so much in their foster home. They mastered stairs right away — mostly because they wanted to be outside as much as possible! They are playful, fun, and enjoy exploring. They do well with other dogs and are respectful of the boundaries they’re given. They’ve discovered the joy of toys and chewies, which is wonderful to see and great for keeping them busy.

They are crated at night and when their foster mom is away, so keeping that routine in their new home will help them continue to thrive. Leash training is coming along nicely — they surprised us with how quickly they took to it. They’ll need more practice, but the potential is absolutely there for them to be walking right beside you in no time.

Housetraining is improving every day, but please expect additional training and, of course, accidents as they learn a new home and routine. They are food‑motivated, which makes training easier. They can still be a bit apprehensive in new situations, but their confidence grows daily.

Sawyer is social and his tail is always wagging! He’s a happy boy who loves to snuggle with his canine friends — and in his opinion, everything is a toy! Dusty is a bit more subdued with people at first and will wait for you to pick him up. He has a gentle nature and absolutely loves to be loved once he feels safe.

Sawyer is neutered, up to date with vaccines, microchipped, flea treated and dewormed. His adoption fee is $475

To keep the dogs safe, we require a
martingale collar at the time of adoption
. If you don’t already have one, Pixie†̄Mamas has them available for
$10
.
