Hello! I am Saúl, a gentle giant—a noble soul wrapped in the body of a large dog. My journey hasn't been easy; I was rescued from the streets in 2023 in very poor condition. I had been eating trash for so long that I suffered a dangerous intestinal obstruction that required emergency surgery. I also fought a long and brave battle against TVT (a tumor in my palate), but after six rounds of chemotherapy and a lot of care, I am now 100% healthy and cancer-free!<br/><br/>I have been waiting at the shelter for 3 long years for someone to notice me. Because I am a bit of a "lazy boy" and don't like to run or play much during recess, I am currently overweight. I spend my days at the shelter just relaxing, and while I love toys, I prefer to just lie down and chew on them quietly. Although I am lazy and prefer to sleep, I need a family that will encourage me to walk and exercise to improve my health. <br/>-Our History: I have been waiting for my forever home since 2023.
