Meet Sassy, a 3-year-old sweetheart who is truly an absolute joy to be around. She has made incredible progress and now genuinely enjoys gentle touch, affection, and even kisses — and once you start, she completely melts into you and forgets she’s even being held. It’s impossible not to fall in love with her soft, trusting nature.<br/><br/>Sassy is wonderfully easygoing and well-mannered. She is crate trained for mealtimes and when left alone, where she remains calm and relaxed. At night, she happily sleeps at the foot of the bed, content just being near her person.<br/><br/>She is pee pad trained and does great with her routine. Sassy is also very social with other dogs — she plays nicely and enjoys interacting with her canine friends.<br/><br/>While she is a bit shy outside of her home environment, this gentle girl just needs a little patience and reassurance to feel safe. Once she does, her loving personality shines through. To ensure a smooth adjustment, we recommend establishing a consistent potty training routine to help create new habits and support their successful integration.<br/><br/>Want to Adopt? 1) Fill out an application on theluckypuppy.org The adoption fees for puppies up to 12 months are a minimum donation of $650, (dogs too young to be fixed will have an extra $200 deposit, refundable pending your spay/neuter agreement), 1 year and up are a minimum donation of $550, 7+ years are a minimum $450 donation 2) Once your application is in, our adoption coordinator will contact you and complete a vet check and home visit (possibly electronic). 3) Once approved, please schedule a meet and greet to see the dogs. Meet and greets are by appointment only for approved adopters.<br/><br/>This pup is available in NY through the Go North Program of The Lucky Puppy Rescue, rescue based in Bonifay and Panama City, FL and adoption center in Argyle NY (NY Lic #1054). The minimum donation $650 adoption fee includes transportation from FL to NY, spay/neuter surgery or spay/neuter agreement (if too young), up to date with: age appropriate vaccinations, de-worming, flea and tick prevention, heartworm prevention (if old enough) and martingale safety collar.
