Sassy

Sassy definitely lives up to her name. This girl is a piece of work.<br/><br/>She is nervous meeting new people. You have to let her come to you. (It's hard being little and scared). Our transporter found out that if you just put your hand down so she knows you're close, Sassy will be in your lap before you hit the NJTP. She just needs to know she's got a safe place to land. That said, she warms up quickly.<br/><br/>Once she knows she's safe, though, she comes out of her shell and lets all her freak flags fly. She loves to play and cuddle, and you'll have to make sure she's queen of the castle. <br/><br/>She would very well as an only dog or with another confident dog her own size who can match her energy. Otherwise, she wants to continue to play even after everyone else is done. <br/><br/>Due to her size and how skittish she is at the start, no young children or grandkids for this girl.<br/><br/>Sassy is being fostered in South Jersey.<br/><br/>Our adoption process ensures every dog finds a safe, committed home. <br/><br/>If approved, the applicant must be willing to travel to Cumberland County, New Jersey to meet the dog.
