Sassy

Sassy is a 2-3 y/o female Australian Terrier Mix, weighing 14 pounds and displaying a loving, energetic and sweet personality. Sassy gets along well with other non-intrusive dogs, knows when to play and when to chill. She enjoys the company of humans and would be at her best in an environment where demands are well established. Sassy is fully vetted, current on shots, spayed, and microchipped. She is Heartworm positive, treatment has been initiated, and will be paid off (adopter will receive a dog that has her Hw treatment prepaid, only responsibility is to follow-thru with the treatment as prescribed in our collaborating clinic, failure to do so will be grounds for the dog to be removed from the household). Sassy, was surgically intervened upon rescue due to the presence of mammary tumors, this situation was addressed and she is fully recovered. A fenced-in yard is a non-negotiable requirement. <br/><br/>Our adoption process involves three steps (1) you complete and submit the Preadoption Questionnaire, here is the link: https://form.123formbuilder.com/5235602//. Once we receive your application we evaluate whether or not you comply with our basic requirements, if you do then we proceed to step 2, we provide you with the dates and times we can come with the dog to your home to complete what we call a "home visit". The purpose of the home visit is two-fold, one for you to meet the dog in person, and secondly for us to see how the dog reacts to you, other animals in your household, your children, and also to take a peek at your fenced-in yard. If everything goes well and you are interested in pursuing the adoption and we have no objections we proceed then and there to complete the adoption contract, collect the adoption donation, provide you with the veterinary records, and leave the dog in your care. We invite all of our potential adopters to ask us for a copy of our adoption contract so you can read it and ask as many questions as you may have.
