Sweet Sassy is looking for that special, one-of-a-kind home that will provide a quiet, peaceful environment she can thrive in. The perfect home would be one that provides structure, routine, calm activity inside and where someone’s home most of the day to keep her company.

Don’t get us wrong, she still has plenty of energy to go on long walks, play with her squeaky toys, splash around in her pool and engage in a robust game of tug-of-war with you, but she gets anxious around noise and chaos. Especially the commotion produced by young children, so if there are children in the home, she prefers them to be older.

Sassy enjoys the companionship of large, calm dogs, but no small dogs or cats please! Too tempting to chase.

This affectionate girl is friendly meeting new people, has good house manners and loves to snuggle with her people at the end of the day. Sassy’s foster mom is working on loose-leash walking and helping her to be more comfortable in a crate. She has a way of staring at her people and following them around to signal that it’s time for a potty break. So smart! And speaking of smart – she knows most of the basic obedience commands. Sassy needs an adult-only home and an experienced owner committed to continuing with her training on a regular basis. Could that exceptional person be you?
