Sassy's Story

Meet Sassy a.k.a. Sassafras!! Sassy is a spayed female boxer mix. She weighs around 65lbs. She came to us due to her previous owners health issues. Sassy is a big love bug and would thrive in a home setting. She loves attention and wants to be by your side whenever she can! She really is the sweetest little girl. Sassy is also potty-trained and LOVE treats. Stop in sometime and fall in love with these her just like we have! ADOPTION FEE: $225 All ACHS dogs are given initial vaccines (Distemper and Bordetella), wormed, spayed/neutered and microchipped. FENCE: Encouraged but not required. DOG IN HOME: Required. We will not adopt to be an outside pet. CHILDREN: Older. She has a lot of energy. INQUIRIES: ALL adoptions begin with a submitted adoption application, which is found on our website, https://www.achs-pets.com/adoptapp.html . We will not respond to Inquiries. We will not adopt to individuals under the age of 18. ***WE DO NOT HOLD DOGS. We will check the veterinary information of the applicant’s other animals and the landlord permission to have pets if the applicant is a renter. Auglaize County Humane Society's Adoption Policy

Our dogs range in price from $100 - $300 depending on breed and age. We prefer our pets forever home to be indoors. We will not allow them to be put on a chain or live primarily outdoors. We require an application before adoption so we can check Veterinarian references and, if renting, landlord approval, along with some other things. We do not transport. The final paperwork must be done in our office. Our cats range in price from $30 - $50 depending on age.
