Sasha

Sasha is a four-year-old Chiweenie (Chihuahua/Dachshund) weighing 17 lbs, recently surrendered by her elderly owner who could no longer care for her. She is used to being snuggled with, petted, kissed and loved so was understandably terrified when she found herself in a cold, noisy kennel. Luckily, she found a short-term foster home where she feels safe and loved again. Sasha will seek out that small space next to you on the couch or will perch on the back of the sofa looking out the window. She will make you laugh every day with her snoring, burrowing under the covers, or walking on her hind legs waiting for dinner! She thrives on being with her people, so we are looking for a family or person who can be with her most of the time. She walks well on a leash and rides beautifully in the car, so taking her with you on errands or trips would be a real treat for her.
