At around 9 to 10 years old, this Border Collie Shepherd mix may be a senior on paper, but she is truly young at heart, full of energy, spunk, and playful charm. Sasha came to the Bakersfield shelter as a stray, and it did not take long for her to become a total staff favorite. From the moment we met her, we fell in love, and everyone else who meets her seems to feel the same way. She has that special something that draws people in and makes a lasting impression.<br/><br/>Her absolute favorite thing in the world is getting belly rubs. Give her a little attention and she will happily melt into your arms, always asking for more love and affection. Sasha adores her people so much that she prefers not to share them. While she is not aggressive, she clearly wants to be your one and only. Because of this, she would do best as the only dog in the home or possibly with a calm senior dog. She is playful, funny, and full of personality, always ready to jump around, bark with excitement, and keep you smiling with her silly antics. She would be an incredible companion dog who will make you laugh and feel loved every single moment of the day.<br/><br/>Sasha does have a slightly wobbly gait due to an old paw injury, but it does not slow her down or cause her any discomfort. It simply adds to her unique charm. She is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to go home now.
