Sasha's Story

This beauty is Sasha! She’s 7 years old, spayed, current on her vaccines, and is being fostered in Tacoma, WA.

From what we understand, Sasha was kept as an indoor dog, and we can only assume she was used as a breeding dog. She is overweight and is on a diet that will slowly and safely get her weight down so those zoomies she runs will become less of an effort for her. She’s also going to hydrotherapy for swim sessions and has shown us that she loves paddling around the pool!

Sasha is a very easy-going girl. She lounges around her foster home, sleeps through the night, and has had no accidents in the house. She is not, for the most part, a barker. She’s a sweet Boxer that would love to occupy a corner of your sofa while you are watching your favorite show.

Sasha would make a great sidekick for a moderately active person who would like a partner in crime to walk around the neighborhood with, go for car rides together, and generally just occupy space in your heart and head. She gets along with all people, including little kids. Sasha definitely gives off nanny vibes!

Regarding other dogs, Sasha is very curious about them when out on walks. She’s been safely introduced to some dogs with people known to her foster mom and she’s done very well – sniffs, walks with, and plays just a little bit, all in an appropriate manner. Sasha is comfortable around other dogs as long as they are respectful and mellow. She would not be suitable in a home with puppies or any high-energy dogs. We could see her not minding a canine companion in her forever home if they match her vibe.

Overall, Sasha is what we’d call an easy dog–easy to walk, easy to love, easy to be around. She is perfection in dog form!

If you’re ready to give Sasha a loving home where she can just be a happy-go-lucky senior gal, then please fill out an application today – www.mustluvboxersrescue.com/adopt.
