This beautiful hound mix is a total lovebug who adores attention and wants nothing more than to be near her people. Sasha recently finished her job as a devoted mama to a litter of puppies and is now ready to find a forever home where she can soak up all the love she deserves.<br/><br/><br/><br/>She came to AHeinz57 with her two brothers (Flint and Flapjack) after living with many other dogs. Before coming to us, we believe that Sasha spent most of her time outside, so she isn't quite familiar with being in a home environment but did recently have the chance to learn more on what that was like. In her previous foster home, we learned that she was quite agile and loved to jump up onto tables to explore more than just the floor. Her hound nose did lead her into getting into things she shouldn't, so she did have to be kenneled during the night. While she was not fan of walking into the kennel, once she was inside of one, she would calm and sleep. Like most hounds do, she loves to hear herself sing at random times so a home without shared walls would be best. <br/><br/><br/><br/>She has done well in playgroups and loved to play with her foster siblings, however, a meet-and-greet with all humans and furry friends is required to make sure everyone gets along just right! However, she does think that cats and other livestock type animals are just fun toys, so a home without cats and livestock would be best. This is also similar to smaller animals when on walks, so she will pull if she catches their scent or if they catch her attention. She is still working on her leash skills, but she will still need someone with a strong grip and ability to plant their heals! She has had the opportunity to meet with a few families with younger children, but her energy and strength was quite overwhelming for them, so a home with older children who have experience with dogs like her, is where she will feel most comfortable.<br/><br/><br/><br/>Sasha is just a young girl that is looking for a family that can be patient with her as she learns the ropes of living in a loving home and learning new basic skills.
