Sasha's Story
Meet Sasha - Professional Greeter, Full-Time Love Machine (with a signature smile).

If you've ever wanted to feel like a celebrity walking into your own home... Sasha is your girl.

But before the kisses, the wiggles, and the nonstop happiness - Sasha's story started very differently.

Sasha was found running the streets of Corpus Christi, Texas with her sister, doing whatever she had to do to survive. Somewhere along the way, she was hit by a car - leaving her with the crooked, unforgettable smile she has today.

And still... she kept going.

She survived long enough for Border Animal Mission to step in, get her the care she needed, and give her a second chance. From there, she made her way up to us - bringing that same resilience, and somehow... the biggest, happiest heart.

And now?

Now Sasha lives by one very important rule:
"Everyone is my best friend, and they need kisses immediately."

Mailman? Bestie.
Neighbor? Bestie.
Random person walking through the door? ABSOLUTELY BESTIE - PREPARE FOR FACE KISSES.

Sasha doesn't just say hello... she celebrates your arrival.

At just about a year old, she's out of the tiny puppy chaos phase and into that perfect sweet spot - playful, joyful, and starting to figure life out.

Spayed
Up to date on shots
House trained
Crate trained - puts herself to bed like a responsible adult
Knows "sit" and "lay down"
Travels like a pro

She's still full of that happy energy, but she's learning her manners, improving on leash, and realizing that not every moment needs maximum excitement... (though she still strongly prefers it).

After everything she's been through, Sasha loves the simple things:
People
Other dogs
Playing in the water
Basking in the sun
And yes... smiling

Her foster family absolutely adores her - and has already warned us the house is going to feel very quiet without her. (Because she is the heart of the home.)

Now... let's talk about that smile.

Sasha has a permanent crooked grin from her accident - and you will notice it. Everyone does. It's the kind of look that makes people stop and say, "Oh my gosh, look at her face!"

But here's the best part:

It doesn't slow her down.
It doesn't define her.
It just makes her even more unforgettable.

Sasha is wonderful with adults, great with kids, loves other dogs, and truly just wants to love and be loved.

She survived the worst... and somehow became the happiest.

Adopt Sasha - because life is better when someone is always that excited to see you... and smiling about it 24/7.
