Sarah's Story

PENDING ADOPTION MEET!!!
Sarah is the last of 6 rat terrier/Chihuahua crosses who came from a 26 dog hoarding confiscation with drugs involved in central California. She is about 2 years old, has been a mom in the past, and weighs 10 pounds with absolutely perfect athletic build.
Sarah is crate trained and has been house safe (with monitoring) in foster care. She adores people once she is confident with them and gets along extremely well with other dogs. It would be good for her to have a confident friendly dog mentor in her new home.
Sarah has been practicing her leash-walking and is comfortable about going in and out of pet-friendly stores, but still avoids contact with strangers. This girl is NOT a couch potato - she is very active and loves being outside and going hiking. No sedentary lap homes for her! She has the perfect build for dog sports activities and a patient dog-smart adopter will be able to build a great partnership with her. SHY DOG EXPERIENCE A MUST.
No condos or townhomes or apartments , please. Small children probably too scary for her right now. Cats might be okay.
Sarah is in foster care in Boise, Idaho. Her adoption fee is $250.
