Sarah's Story

Meet Sarah

Sarah is a low-energy, easygoing girl who's happiest lounging by your side or soaking up the sunshine in the yard. With her gentle nature and relaxed personality, she's the perfect match for someone looking for a calm, steady companion.

She's housebroken, settles nicely in her kennel, and could easily thrive in a variety of home environments. Sarah gets along well with other chill, older dogs who share her laid-back vibe, and she's always happy to make new human friends-especially if snacks are involved (this girl loves a good treat!).

Sarah has Cushing's disease, which is currently well-managed with medication. She'll need an adopter who is committed to maintaining her routine veterinary care so she can continue to feel her best. She's a wonderful reminder that sometimes the sweetest dogs just need a little extra support.

We don't have a history of Sarah living with children, but based on her friendly, mellow personality, we don't anticipate any concerns. She has not been tested with cats.

If you're looking for a gentle, affectionate companion to share cozy days and quiet evenings, Sarah might be your perfect match!

Apply to adopt today, or email dogs@rispca.org with any questions!
