Sara's Story

Oh my goodness, those ears!

Meet Sara ? She's a baby - only about 5 months old and her paperwork says she's a Carolina Dog mix. Whatever her mix, she is a very happy, friendly, active puppy! And she's waiting to find a family - either foster or foster-to-adopt. Please complete our application online:
https://www.allaboutthedogsrescue.org/get-involved

Sara came into the rescue on Monday, March 10. At only 5 months old she desperately needed out of the pound, or her life was on the line. She's all set with her vaccines and has been spayed, and she'll be seeing our vet on Monday for her intake exam. Then she'll be all set to move to your home ?

She would like an active family. A fenced yard where she can run around would be ideal, and so would a family who will take her on long walks and hikes and adventures.

As with any puppy, she will need training. If you foster, we will work with you on that. An adopter will need to commit to ongoing training and socialization so that she grows up to be the best version of herself.

Sara likes other dogs. Again, she's a puppy - so any dog she lives with will need to be tolerant of puppy antics and even help teach her the ropes of being a polite family member.

Because she still jumps up, she'd need to live with children who are stable on their feet (7+ years old). She'd be more than likely to knock over little ones.

Here's your chance, folks! Sarah is a GEM of a dog. Please step up to foster or adopt today!
