SANTY's Story

Santy is a two year old Rat Terrier / Chihuahua mix. He is a very active boy who loves to play. He smiles whenever he is happy (with the cutest smile ever) and loves to be playing, especially with toys. He knows how to sleep in a crate and is quick to learn! This sweet boy was thrown from a car on the road and chased the car until he got too tired. Thankfully, a rescue saw what happened and brought him home to keep him safe. This poor boy is a lovely dog who would make you happy everyday. Apply to meet him today!

If you are interested in adopting & think you can provide a great home for this pet, please complete an online application so that we can better assess if this pet is a good match for you & your family.

ADOPTION APPLICATION: www.vida4animals.org/adoption-application/

If you can't commit to adoption today, please consider providing a foster home for one of our pets.

FOSTER APPLICATION: www.vida4animals.org/foster-application/

More info on our rescue & adoption process: www.vida4animals.org

For more information on this pet, please see the contact information in the box below (right). VIDA Rescue's Adoption Policy
Visit https://www.vida4animals.org/process-fees for full information. 1.) VIEW OUR ADOPTABLE PETS ONLINE. 2.) APPLY TO ADOPT THE PET. www.vida4animals.org/adoption-application/ 3.) MEET THE PET AFTER YOUR APPLICATION IS APPROVED! Your application also works for any other pets in our care, so be sure to periodically check our adoptables list. We review within 24 hours. We'd also be happy to keep an eye out for any pets that match the criteria you're looking for - just let us know. After your home is approved, you'll be able to meet the pet either at our shelter, or we'd love to take your possible future best friend closer to where you're located. We go to San Diego and Griffith Park on a weekly basis to cover as much area as we can! Anywhere in between is possible for a meeting spot too, depending on our availability. 4.) TAKE YOUR PET HOME ON A TRIAL PERIOD OR COMPLETE THE ADOPTION. We generally do same-day adoptions after the meet-and-greet. Certain animals are eligible for a 1-2 week trial period where you'll be able to see how he or she does in your home environment - if you have pets at home or kids, we can often do this. You'll have the opportunity to ask our adoption coordinators and volunteers any questions about caring for your pet.
