Santos's Story

ADOPTION PENDING!
Our “S Litter” will be at Tractor Supply in Ringoes, NJ on July 13 & 14th. If interested, please fill out our application at www.SoCoRescue.com (No phone calls please)

The overwhelming problems that all rescues are facing these days is best exemplified with the rescuing of our "S" litter. While at a local mobile home park to pick up a dog due to the owner's declining health, Scott Bennett was told about a litter of pups that were abandoned at the dumpster within the park. When he went to check on those pups, he came across yet another litter of very young pups that had been abandoned by their previous owner. That litter, just barely 6 weeks old, were all huddled together within a small makeshift pen. There was nothing to shield the pups from the hot sun. Scott knew if he left these pups there that they would most likely die, so he had the manager of the park sign them over to SoCo Rescue. We're happy to report that all five of the pups are doing great!

Santos is the largest pup from this litter. To say he's "fat and happy" would be an understatement, but does describe his wonderful personality. He loves playing with other pups, seems very smart and quickly becomes friends with everyone he meets. Santos will make a great addition into just about any home situation and should become someone's all-time favorite dog.

Santos will have received all of his first year "puppy" vaccinations, de-wormings and other required care. He's also ben started on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. His adopter must agree to having Santos neutered once he reaches 6 months of age and provide SoCo with verification of such. Santos will need all of his basic training.
