At six years old, this sweet boy is mellow, affectionate, and happiest when he’s snuggled up next to you (or napping in his favorite spot).<br/><br/>Santino came to rescue after his previous owner was relocating and didn't want to take him. He has since been thriving in a loving foster home with a two-year-old child and a six-year-old Frenchie. He’s completely potty trained, wonderful with kids, and calm around other dogs.<br/><br/>He has mild hip dysplasia that’s managed well, healthy teeth, and, yes, a bit of that classic bulldog “dad bod.” Like any bulldog, Santino has his stubborn streak and takes pride in guarding his blanket and bed—but most of the time, he’s calm, gentle, and full of love.<br/><br/>He’s currently re-learning healthy eating habits (he’ll always try to finagle some human snacks if you let him!) and does well with short walks, structure, and lots of affection.<br/><br/>Santino would do best in a bulldog-savvy home—someone who understands his lovable quirks, can keep him on a balanced routine, and will shower him with the love and attention he deserves.<br/><br/>If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key senior companion with the perfect mix of charm and character, Santino is your guy.
