Meet Santana — a handsome Golden Retriever/Black Lab mix with a gentle personality and a love for his people. He currently weighs 47 lbs but should be between 58–68 lbs at a healthy weight, and he’s on his way to getting there with good care and nutrition.<br/><br/>Santana truly loves people and enjoys being close to his family. He’s happiest when he’s spending time with his humans, whether that’s relaxing at home or heading out for a walk. He is crate trained, house trained, and quiet in his crate, making him an easy companion to have in the home.<br/><br/>He loves going for walks and does very well on a leash. Santana is comfortable passing other dogs while out on walks and can be good with dogs he knows and trusts. Like many dogs, he prefers proper introductions and time to build those friendships.<br/><br/>Santana would do best with a family that enjoys including their dog in daily life and giving him the companionship he loves.
