Sandy's Story

Sandy is an amazing dog. He has been great with all the dogs he has met: big small, old and annoying puppy.
He has been well mannered in the house. He loves to cuddle in a lap. He follows his mom around the house but will also go out and play with the other dogs.
He has some fun moves and loves to play bow. He has potential for some doggy sports as well as the tempermenat a pet therapy dog where he can go help people feel better.
We do not know about children and cats but the guess is he would be fine.
He has been good in his crate and does not bark. He has been good about housetraining but, of course, with a new move his adopters will want to watch him for the first few days or so.
Sandy does not shed. That being said, adopter will need to be prepared with the resources to have Sandy groomed on a regular basis. He came to us a horrific matted mess and that is simply not fun! Our groomer said he should be groomed a bit more often at first just so the groomer can work with him as he moved his legs a lot. He will get better.

Sandy is sure to make a great addition to some lucky family.
PetsConnect is a not for profit, volunteer run organization.
