Sandy's Story

How this pet arrived: Sandy was brought in by her previous owner on April 27, 2025. Why this pet is the one for you:Meet Sandy, a sweet senior with a heart of gold and a surprising amount of pep in her step! Don't let the "senior" tag fool you - Sandy still lights up at the chance to zoom around, chase squirrels, and soak up every bit of attention she can get! When she sees her favorite people, her entire body wiggles with joy, though she's just as happy settling in for a quiet cuddle with her head in your lap. In the home, Sandy is a gentle, calm soul who lives for chin scratches. While she can be a little shy at first, she warms up quickly with a bit of patience and kindness. Because she's a sensitive gal, she's looking for a home with older children (10+) and no small critters to chase. Sandy can be a bit reactive to other pups and might prefer being your one-and-only; however, if you have another dog, we'd love for you to bring them by for a meet-and-greet! To keep her feeling her best, Sandy is currently thriving on pain medication for some age-related joint stiffness, and she'll just need yearly vet check-ups to stay in tip-top shape. If you're looking for a loyal companion to spoil with love and comfort during her golden years, Sandy is ready to meet you! Come in and ask about this wiggly wonder today! Shy/Fearful Dog: Sandy requires a virtual behavior consult, please watch THIS video to learn more about her. Primary Color: Tan Secondary Color: Black Weight: 71.6lbs Age: 11yrs 1mths 1wks Animal has been Spayed
