Sandy's Story

Sandy is a sweet, energetic Basenji mix who is easy to love! She weighs about 37 pounds and is approaching a year old so was still in the Puppy stage, but a lot of her training has already been completed. She knows Sit, lay down, time to go outside, go home, which means she needs to get into her crate and lay down. She is also house trained and whines to let you know she needs to go outside and potty. She has been raised around cats so that that's another positive for For Her. She's currently with a young mom who has young children and works full time so they just don't have the time for her. She does fine with the children but does want to play with them. Sandy will calm down when you give her attention and she just seems to kind of melt. She loves a good run around the yard and playtime but can come in and settle. What a great dog and you have to love those ears! The BEST way to begin a potential adoption is to directly email <br/>Storkwoods@comcast.net and request an application. Again, this is going to be your best bet on getting a response.
