Sandy is an 11-year-old, 10-pound miniature dachshund–Chihuahua mix with a big heart and a playful spirit. She’s a total lovebug who’s ready to find her forever human companion. Up to date on all her shots and fully house trained.<br/><br/>She walks well on a leash and adores meeting people—especially kids—during her daily strolls. While she’s not a fan of large dogs or meeting new friends in the dark, she’s otherwise easygoing and sociable. Ducks and squirrels catch her eye, and she’s always up for a little adventure. One of her favorite games is fetch with a tennis ball—she’s surprisingly spry and clever, even pinning the ball against the wall like a pro!<br/><br/>Sandy’s full of personality, affection, and charm. We take into consideration the dog's activity level, compatibility with other members of the household (human and other pets), etc.<br/>If your application has been approved, but the dog you applied for is no longer available, please take the time and look over our adoptable dogs again.
