Sandy's Story

Meet Sandy! 🐾 Sandy is a 4-month-old Hound mix with a heart full of love and a whole lot of puppy curiosity! 💕 She is a very sweet girl who believes everything deserves to be investigated--and she's always ready for her next little adventure.

Sandy loves to play with toys, especially the ones that squeak! 🧸🎶 She absolutely loves people and does wonderfully when meeting new humans and other dogs. She is playful with other pups and would love a family who will give her plenty of opportunities for playtime, walks, and exploring.

One of Sandy's sweetest qualities is how loving and cuddly she is. After all that puppy fun, her favorite place to be is right next to you for a cozy nap. 🥰

Sandy is doing well in her crate and is working hard on her potty training. She's also learning her puppy manners, so her new family should be ready to continue her training and help her learn what's expected of her. She is treat-motivated and eager to learn, which should make training lots of fun!

She does pretty well on a leash and doesn't pull too hard, but she's still learning. She also rides well in the car. 🚗🐶

Sandy loves other dogs and enjoys playing with them. She thinks cats look like potential playmates, so she would do best with a dog-savvy cat who won't mind her puppy enthusiasm. She does well with children, although she may still jump up because she's an excited puppy.

Sandy is looking for a family who will give her the love, patience, training, and adventures every puppy deserves. In return, she'll give you plenty of kisses, cuddles, squeaky-toy fun, and unconditional love. ❤️

Dogs are not placed on a first-come, first-serve basis. We strive to find the perfect home for each animal. Applications may take up to 48 hours to process. All CAWS animals are fixed, microchipped, and vaccinated. Her adoption fee is $300.
