Sandy

Young Sandy, born February 2025, was already on the street at a young age. A kind rescuer would see her out chasing chickens, hungry and alone, and took her into foster care. Sandy is a mixed breed, perhaps whippet x terrier, currently weighing 33 lbs, who we estimate may be 38 lbs full grown. Sandy is living in a foster home with multiple dogs and cats. She is playful with all dogs even the tiniest of them. Sandy is friendly with people and, not surprisingly, likes to go slow when strangers visit to be sure they are safe to cuddle. Sandy has not been tested with kids. Sandy is house trained, walks well on leash, and has been good when left alone in her foster home. Sandy is looking for adventure and would like an active home where she can run and play, and even some enrichment for her big brain. Not only is Sandy beautiful, but she is also healthy, spayed and vaccinated.
