Sandy (6)'s Story
Hi! My name is Sandy(6). I'm an adult (3 years, 5 months), short but medium-sized (35lbs) dog with medium-length, brownish fur. I was rescued with my sister, Bonita, after someone abandoned us in the street, leaving us inside of a cardboard box. I've been dewormed, vaccinated and spayed through the adoption program.

It's been 3 years since I was rescued and I still have yet to be requested for adoption, even though I have the loveliest character. I don't lose hope though!

I live both indoors and outdoors, and I hang out with lots of dogs. I like climbing to high places and I love using any object I find as a toy. I'm also very generous, I will usually offer a plastic bottle or a twig to anyone I wish to play with.

Since I live with a lot of other dogs, I usually get a bit nervous when meeting new people or animals, but with a bit of patience I'll be able to adapt to my new home. Actually, having other dogs in my new home would help, as long as they're not too big. Cats are a strict NO for me (sorry!).

I hope to find a loving and responsible family that will take good care of me!
