Sandy's Story

Sandy is the best girl. She lost her home through no fault of her own. She was found as a young pup after showing up at a stranger's home. The stranger took her in and provided her with care and vetting while trying to find an owner or new home. The age difference proved to be too much for a young dog and an elderly lady. Sandy is about 60 lbs in size and is a healthy, playful, spayed girl. She is friendly to all folks, cats and dogs. She is housebroken and loves a companion. She has one blue eye. She is a love! We are a rural shelter with high intakes. As a result, the shelter dogs are not guaranteed safety. We do our best but, we need help. ADOPTION FEES APPLY- Dogs $175- $200 Cats $100. (We are not set up for credit or debit payments.) Applications are required and can be requested by emailing fopcpky@gmail.com or the foster contact listed if in foster care. They can also be downloaded from this website: www.fopcp.org Families with young children are required to have a fenced yard to prevent accidental escape of pets.
