Hi, I’m Samuel, a young lab mix with energy for days and a huge love for life. I’m the kind of guy who wakes up excited, ready to zoom, play, explore, and make every moment an adventure. What I want more than anything is a big backyard where I can really let loose and get my zoomies out—I’ve got a lot of enthusiasm packed into this big body of mine. Because I don’t always realize my own strength, I’d do best in a home with sturdier kids (over eight) who won’t mind my goofy bursts of excitement. I’d make an awesome buddy for runs, hikes, or just exploring the neighborhood with you, taking in all the sights and smells. Great Plains SPCA's Adoption Policy

We are open for adoptions, no appointment necessary, Wednesdays through Sundays from 11am-7pm. On Monday and Tuesday, we are available for adoptions by appointment only. -We recommend (and in some cases require) that all members of the household meet the pet prior to adoption. -Great Plains SPCA runs background checks on adopters and adults in the home over 18. -Great Plains SPCA requires all visitors to wear masks that cover the nose and mouth at all times while inside our buildings. Our expert matchmakers look forward to finding you the perfect furry family member! Adoption Requirements: - Adopter must be 18 years of age or older. - For the safety and health of our animals, we do not ship pets. - Pet adoption fees range from $60 to $450. Our adoption fees help to offset the cost of evaluation, housing, feeding and medical care for the thousands of animals needing our help. We do our best to keep our adoption prices reasonable while generating income to support our goal of caring for animals available for adoption until we can place them in a loving home. The adoption fee for each animal varies and is dependent on many factors including: age, size, behavior, medical condition, and public demand.
