Hi, I'm Samson! <br/><br/>Approx 3 years old | APBT Mix | 70 lbs<br/><br/>I was confiscated from a neglect/hoarding situation with several other dogs, and the people here believe I may be the dad to some of the younger dogs. Unlike many of them, I arrived in much better condition. It appears I spent most of my time living separately from the larger group, and because of that, I avoided many of the injuries the others suffered.<br/><br/>Now I'm ready for something I've never truly had... a family of my own!<br/><br/> <br/><br/> Friendly and affectionate Calm, well-mannered personality Potty trained Has lived with other dogs Ready to settle into family life<br/><br/>I've been a wonderful neighbor to the other dogs here at the shelter, and since I've lived with other dogs before, we think I'll do well with proper introductions. However, I am not a fan of kitties, so I will need a home without them. We expect I'll do well with respectful children.<br/><br/> <br/><br/>I do have some skin irritation from the environment I came from, but I'm already receiving the care I need, and with time, a healthy diet, and lots of love, it should clear up in no time. I may also benefit from a quality salmon-based food or a skin and coat supplement to help keep my skin healthy as I heal.<br/><br/>Everyone here describes me as a truly well-mannered dog. I keep my kennel clean, enjoy spending time with people, and seem genuinely grateful for every bit of kindness that's shown to me!<br/><br/>I've survived my past. Now I'm ready to discover what it's like to simply be loved. Maybe that future starts with you. <br/><br/> <br/><br/>Neutered, microchipped, Heartworm & Lyme Negative, current on vaccines and on monthly prevention. Please allow 24-36 hours for a response. If approved, we will contact you to schedule a meet & greet!
