Meet Sammy, a 2 year old 20 pound lovebug rescued off the beaches of Puerto Rico. He was so terrified upon arrival to Maryland (both the car and the plane ride with strangers were nothing he had experienced before). He is doing just wonderfully in his foster home. He loves dogs and will be an excellent playmate for your other dog; he is also very good at keeping himself entertained. Fine with cats and was reported to be fine with kids while in Puerto Rico. He loves playing with toys-has probably not been given too many of those in his past-he is quickly settling into a new lifestyle that is pure luxury compared to his days as one of Puerto Rico's huge stray dog population. Good with the crate and mostly housebroken, when taken out regularly. Eager to please and super sweet. All of our dogs will be microchipped.<br/><br/>Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration.
