Sammy, sweet Lab mix, very timid, needs quiet, loving home

Sammy is about 4 yrs old, 55lbs, all white w/few black spots, very dog friendly. <br/>He’s fully vetted: vaccinated, dewormed, neutered, heartworm tested negative, and very healthy. He's active and playful, and loves chew bones. Sammy is still very shy and timid of people, but he really likes other dogs and feels most comfortable with them.  He will need some work with a patient owner to become more comfortable around people. He would do best with another confident dog in the home for bonding and for play time, and a fenced yard for exercise. He's a beautiful little boy. He's very sweet and gently friendly, wanting to trust and he will get there. Can someone open their home and heart to a little shy boy and watch him blossom, and give back love and devotion in spades. He just needs a chance to bond with someone special. He would most benefit from fostering in a home right now !
